Persephone's Ballad

One of my first pieces was Persephone's Ballad written based off of the myth of Persephone. The ballad follows her story, being abducted to the underworld and Demeters attempts to get her back, repeated in canon in the piece. The work intensifies as it progresses until it climaxes just before it comes back to the main theme at the end of the piece, signifying her willingness to stay.
